Camera and microphone issues

Camera and microphone access depends on two main points:
Your browser settings
Your operating system settings
Please make sure to grant access in each scenario to avoid any mistakes. Below, we've grouped a few of the typical access problems:
Using Chrome
Using Safari

Using Newer Versions of MacOS
If the camera and microphone are blocked in Chrome, please follow the steps below to enable it:
In Chrome check the camera and microphone permissions:
Ensure you granted the right permissions for the camera and microphone. Refresh your browser. The next time you try to connect to your live stream, Chrome will display a window to asking you to allow to your camera and microphone.
If the camera and microphone are blocked in Safari, please follow the steps below to enable it:
Click Safari > Settings for this website:
Check that the Camera and Microphone fields are not set on Deny. Set it on Ask or Allow:
Refresh your browser. The next time you try to connect to your live stream, Safari will display a window to asking you to allow to your camera and microphone.
If the camera and microphone are blocked in Firefox, please follow the steps below to enable it:
Click on the Permissions icon next to your URL bar. Make sure that the permissions for the camera and microphone are not blocked.
Once you allow permissions, please refresh your browser. You should be able to connect with your camera and microphone.
If you are using macOS, there is a new privacy option to enable in order to use your camera and microphone on any browser. This requirement is prompted the when you enter a live stream:
To enable your camera and microphone, all you have to do is go to System Settings > Privacy & Security you will find "Camera" and "Microphone". Click on both options and please give access to your browser so you can connect your camera during the live stream:
Similarly, under "Microphone", please give access to your browser so you can connect your microphone during the live stream:
